Firebrand Ministries, run by Pastor Maria Celentano, has been preaching and sharing the gospel for almost a decade. God’s plan took Pastor Maria to Zephyrhills, Florida, where she settled and felt called by God to reach the lost. There she began burning the midnight oil. Literally. She began visiting a nearby McDonald’s at midnight for some coffee and good old fashioned sharing the gospel time. There she saw several homeless people and drug addicts there.
Most would have ignored or sadly scoffed at them, but Pastor Maria knew they needed to be saved. She knows the deeper issue. So she preached to them, shared the gospel and even invited the people to her church for food and shelter. The Midnight Rescue was born. Since then, Maria has kept to her roots and calling. Her ministry has helped save and touch many people who would still be hellbound & lost on the streets of Florida. She has been used by God to help save drug addicts, drug dealers, prostitutes, abused women, trouble teens, pregnant teenagers, and other people who society thought would amount to nothing.
However, some of Jesus’s best flock were people just like the ones Maria found, which is something that some Christians have sadly forgotten. She knows they’ll be there when the End Times come and that they’ll stay faithful to God no matter what kind of past they’ve had. Through the Firebrand’s Deliverance Ministry’s, many have been set free and cleansed of their past sins, drug addictions, demonic strongholds and helps them prepare for the future by being a house of healing and hope
To this day, Pastor Maria and her husband, Dennis, and a wonderful team are helping the world’s outcasts day and night, become the people God intended them to be. She does this through preaching, reaching out to those who are at their bottom, through her revivals, and hitting the streets weekly. She’s on a non-stop mission for Jesus.
